Title: Hawaiian Pork Chops

Yield: 4 Servings

4 Loin Pork Chops, Cut
  1" Thick
2tbVegetable Oil
1/4cButter
1/2cGreen Onion, Chopped
2clGarlic, Minced
2tbAll-Purpose Flour
1tbCurry Powder
1cChicken broth
1/2tsSalt
1/2tsPepper
8 3/4ozCrushed pineapple with
  Juice
1cSnow peas

Heat the oil in a large skillet. Brown the pork chops on both sides. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Melt the butter in the same skillet. Add the green onion and the garlic. Saute until soft. Stir in the flour, curry powder, chicken broth, salt, pepper, crushed pineapple and the pineapple juice. Bring the mixture to a boil. Return the pork chops to the pan. Cover. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add the snow peas. Cook for only a few minutes. Serve. From: Joel Ehrlich
